The Malt House dates back to the 16th century and is one of the oldest buildings in Padstow. Just a stone’s throw from the picturesque harbour, it provides an oasis of calm to the weary traveller with it’s private garden and cosy accommodation.

With around 500 years of history, the Grade II Listed property has been used for many purposes: It has been a coaching inn, a dairy, a brewery, a pub and even (rumour has it) a house of ill repute!

For the last 100 years, the main house (The White Hart) and it’s south wing (The Malt House) have been a private residence, the latter being converted to comfortable holiday accommodation. With two king size beds, two bathrooms, galley kitchen and a dining and lounge area, The Malt House is perfect for up to 4 adults requiring self-catered accommodation in the heart of Padstow.

We look forward to welcoming you to The Malt House!
